CREDIT 2021 Credit scenarios in the post-pandemic era
This has been the theme addressed during the CREDIT 2021 roundtable, aired online on May 11th 2021 at 4:00 CET.
The 2020 pandemic has deeply affected the worlds economic system, suspending production flows, evaluation methods and scenario forecasting.
Government intervention on a global scale has been able to cushion the impact of lockdowns and slowdowns, but what will await us when we get back to "normal"?
Credit, active or passive, is the engine that powers the economic, banking and insurance sectors. Will we need a new approach to credit or will we have to live with the old methodologies and absorb the pandemic as if it were an unforeseen event?
What impact will ESG criteria have in leading companies into a new era?
These were the questions that representatives of the banking, insurance and business world have addressed.
This event has been promoted in the context of the Credit Observatory, a virtual space by Swissdacs Group to create a place open to debate and to the contribution of all those who are involved in various capacities in credit: entrepreneurs, experts from the banking and insurance sector, academics, representatives of the political world and civil society.
This event has been held in English.
